DANVIC · ABOUT
About the DANVIC Lab
Rapid prototyping and deployment pipeline for self-hosted infrastructure. Build fast in the lab, ship to production with confidence.
Infrastructure
The DANVIC lab runs on virtualization-based infrastructure hosting Docker containers, VMs, and storage arrays. All services are self-hosted and managed locally.
Focus Areas
Primary focus on cryptocurrency infrastructure (mining, nodes, stratum servers), infrastructure automation, and building custom dashboards and monitoring tools.
Technology Stack
Application Layer
Flask applications with Gunicorn, Python automation scripts, and Node-RED flows for orchestration and integration.
Data Layer
MariaDB for structured data, SQLite for lightweight services, and JSON endpoints for cross-service communication.
Crypto Infrastructure
Full nodes, P2Pool instances, and stratum servers for BTC, BCH, DGB, and XMR mining with local validation and monitoring.
Automation & Monitoring
Unified automation platform for infrastructure orchestration, Zigbee devices, and custom sensors pulling metrics from all infrastructure components.
Philosophy
Self-hosted first: All services run locally on owned hardware. No reliance on cloud providers for core infrastructure.
Open protocols: Preference for open-source software, decentralized systems, and interoperable standards.
Measured experimentation: New projects start small, validate assumptions with real metrics, and scale only when proven useful.
Document for future-self: Clear documentation, structured metadata, and automation-friendly APIs make systems maintainable.
